Hello, I have been working with computer when suddenly mouse cursor stopped moving. Mouse battery level was OK (button was green). Replaced battery, restarted computer - no use. Plugged the receiver into another USB port - no changes. Uplugged the receiver without turning the mouse off - and when I plugged it in again and turned the mouse on - IT WORKED! But only once. Another day this trick didn't help either. It looks as if the mouse and the receiver are ok, but sumehow the connection has dissapeared.
Is there any way I can fix it?
I use DELL Inspiron N5010 computer, Win 7.
Devices and Printer show "USB Receiver" with mouse icon, "Manufacturer" and other data are marked as "unavailable".
Alas, I did not keep the check, thus I can't return it to be changed (previously I had an optical Logitech mouse for many years without any problems, and I didn't expect any with this one)...

Let me suggest testing the Logitech Wireless Mouse M180 on a different computer, if the issue persist, you can contact the Phone Support team for further assistance.

It did not work with another computer.
I also tried and advice that I found in another topic - to find the Connect Utility at C:\Program Files\Logitech\SetPointP\ConnectUtility.exe. - but there wasn't such file in my C disk , and I actually didn't find any Logitech files at all. Should I download and install them manually?

Try the following:

Thank you for the link, I downloaded the utility, tried it once - it worked! Another day - the mouse does not connect even when using the utility. I don't know if this is relevant but when I choose "advanced", it shows another model of mouse (M215, while mine is M180).

Let me ask you, if you select or click on the M215, do you get an option to uninstall or unpair?, if you do, please click on the option.

Have the same problem.
After almost a year of perfect work mouse just stopped.
When the power switch of the mouse is being turned on the red light flashes for a half a second and stops.
The connection utility sees the receiver but can't recognize the mouse.
And there is no such device as "M180 Mouse" in the device manager, only HID-interface device. Removing it and rebooting on 2 laptops doesn't help at all.
