My Logitech M-RCE95 mouse is behaving differently.

More specifically, I recently bought a new logitech M305 with the nano receiver to replace my old M-RCE95. I had trouble setting up the nano receiver, so I decided to go back to my faithful M-RCE95. Turns out, the nano receiver may have messed up a function from the old mouse. Normally, clicking the scroll wheel opens links in new tabs or closes tabs. But now, it shows a little magnifying glass that zooms a page in or out when you scroll. Is there any way I can get the mouse to behave properly again?

Thank you.

Hi davemikes918,

Do you have the Setpoint software installed? If so what is the middle click assigned to? If there is no Setpoint installed then there must be some other software or setting on the computer causing this to happen, it is not a feature of the mouse. If you can't find anything else that may be causing it, test the mouse on another computer to see if it has the same problem, if it did then it would likely be a hardware defect.
