Hi,
I've been having problems with zooming (either with the combination of the zoom button in a webbrowser or in Adobe Photoshop/After Effects)... Every single 'click' (up or down) of the mousewheel zooms several steps at once, making it useless... Scrolling on the other hand works fine.
It's definetly some kind of software or driver problem on the Mac. I used the mouse without Problems on 2 Windows PCs while the problem shows on 2 Macs (iMac 27" and MacBook 13")... I had a long discussion with the german Logitech support but they were of no help at all, saying a similiar problem is not known. Not what I'm accustomed with the Logitech support, so I was kind of disappointed.
Now I deinstalled the LLC and driver and zooming works perfectly fine but of course I can't use the additional buttons.....
So, does anyone know a fix for this?
And to prevent useless suggestions: the newest LLC and driver was installed several times....
Thanks in advance!

I totally agree, it's the software, Logitech Control Center for Mac. I downloaded the latest version from the website, tried to install it on a fresh build of Lion 10.7.3, on my normal day to day machine also running 10.7.3 and the issue also happens... Try scrolling through photos on an Aperture library, see what happens... the slight movement of the wheel will scroll many photos at once! Uninstall the Logitech software and scrolling gets back to normal. I tried changing scroll acceleration and speed on the software, nothing stops this annoying problem! I paid so much for this expensive mouse because I had a V450 that worked perfectly for years so I decided to go for Logitech, I kind of regret it now. With the V450 I didn't need to install this software because it did not have extra buttons but the Anywhere MX has extra buttons that only let me set what they do if I install the software, so I'm stuck. I don't want to return the mouse because it works without the software, I just want them to fix this issue with the scrolling, which is VERY BAD.

Thanks for the reply. Glad I'm not the only one having this problem... let's hope Logitech sees this...

Same problem here:
No precision scrolling possible. Adobe Creative Suite 5/6 is barely usable. After scrolling a multipage document in Indesign the Page jumps up and down again. CAD Applications not usable at all, rocketing into infinity after turning the scrollwheel once.
I tried reinstalling the driver without success.
When I fade the accelerartion to the right in scrollwheel setting (LCC) the scrollwhell won't scroll down anymore... https://dl.dropbox.com/u/2748412/M705-Settings.png
Generally I would say pointing and scrolling is way to sensitive.
Mac Pro OSX 10.7.4
LCC 3.6

By the threads I have found here, seems this problem exists since 1 year ago and still no solution.
I wish I knew about this before, it's not a 10us mice and EVEN THAT, my $11.40 mice scroll perfectly, I can't believe this one can't.
I ran the same mice under windows and the scroll is fine, so physically the mice is fine, it's just the driver that seems horribly adapted to Mac OS.
I could bought something of utility by the price of this mice. Don't get me wrong, the mice is amazing, feels good, but the horrible scrolling takes out all the good of the mice and make it an horrible experience.
I'm just hoping logitech do something and fix this problem to make worth the money expended.

I downloaded a software called "Steer Mouse", it fixed my problems:
http://plentycom.jp/en/steermouse/download.html
I just lost the avility to go "back" and "foward" in safari, but you can do much cooler stuff.
Just remember uninstall the logitech device mananger first.
