Performance Mouse MX forward and back button issue.

Bought this mouse a few days ago and I love it. But The forward and back function through web pages doesnt seem to work all the time. It works on some web pages but doesnt work on others. My browser shows I have the option to move back or forward, but the mouse doesnt do either, when the assigned button is pressed. It does this in Google Chrome and Safari.
Is there something I can do to fix this?

Im running Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5

Re: Performance Mouse MX forward and back button issue.

Hello seanm_

Make sure the forward and back buttons on your Logitech Performance Mouse MX are configured under the Logitech Control Center Software.  If they are and they still don't work under Google Chrome and Safari, you'll need to contact their support team to further assist you with this.

I have this same problem.

I think I just figured out the problem. Forward and back do not work if the curser is in a field. You have to click out of the field and forward/back works again.
