I bought this mouse in a bundle with the Pro 2400 keyboard and the little wireless USB receiver last year.
The other day whilst my brother was on the PC, after he angrily slammed the mouse down on the desk (bad mood), the mouse stopped working properly.
He noticed the red LED underneath wasn't on, and moving the mouse about didn't move the cursor. But the scroll wheel and buttons still work.
I don't know whether to bother with the faffing about of getting a replacement or whatever from Logitech, or to get a different Logitech mouse that'll work with the receiver (C-UAM35), because it seems it's not sold anymore, atleast not from any websites I trust.
Are there even any other Logitech mice compatible with the receiver I have?

Update: Opened the mouse up and noticed the LED underneath had popped out of it's little clip holding it down in place. Clicked it back in and put the mouse back together and it's working now, only the LED doesn't light up red anymore. But everything else works, so it's fine for now.
