Hello,
I tried to install Setpoint 6.22. However I am behind proxy and the installer could not find an internet connection.
I have already installed setpoind 6.20 but the program could not bring the images of my mouse probably because of the same reason
My proxy settings in my Windows XP LAN Settings are ok.
Is there any way to correct this or even download a full version of Setpoint?
Thanks in advance

Hi argad and ldogle,
Unfortunately at the moment we have only released a smart installer version of Setpoint 6.22. If you are having troubles with your current version, please follow the steps below to check for additional updates.
- open up the Setpoint software
- click on the Tools tab
- select the last icon (left-hand side) and click the button for updates
If the issue persists, please try uninstalling and reinstalling the software (32-bit/64-bit) in clean boot mode.
Best Regards,
If a reply adequately addresses your technical issue, please click on the "Accept as Solution" and "Give Kudos" button so this information can benefit other users via search.

I have tried to follow your directions but they do not match with what I see on my screen when I open the Setpoint software version 6.15.25 or 6.20.64.
- What do you mean with the "Tools tab" ?
- What do you mean with "the last icon (left-hand side)"
Kind regards
Picsoe

Hi Picsoe,
When you open up Setpoint, in the top right hand corner of the window you should see a button labeled "Tools". Once you click on "Tools", take a look in bottom left-hand corner and click on the last image that you see. If you do not see a "Tools" tab, please try uninstalling and reinstalling your software (32-bit/64-bit) in clean boot mode.

I am having the same problme. There is no Tools Tabs whatsoever.
I cannot believe that Setpoint 6.22 is called "smart" version. It is not smart at all. Also, the software is already on version 6, why are you still having this kind of basic issue?
It is very frustrating. The hardware is great, but let down by the buggy software. It ruins the user experience totally.

Hi BatF,
Please try uninstalling your current version of SetPoint and install SetPoint 6.30 (32-bit/ 64-bit) in clean boot mode.
If the issue continues and are running Windows Vista or 7, please try running SetPoint.exe as administrator.
- Right-click SetPoint.exe, and click Properties
- Select the Compatibility tab
- Check the box next to "Run this program as an administrator"
- Click OK
- Open the program, and if prompted by UAC, click Yes to apply the permissions
Best Regards,

The "smart" installer is about as smart as a bowling ball - any half baked Windows application can take simply the "system" settings for the Internet connection thus not even notice it's behind a firewall. The support is not much better: you get valuable advice how to change settings in a program you're not able to install in the first place!
Plainly ridiculous, years after the first report it's still like this...

I'm having the same problem installing setpoint 6.32 on my new computer @ work (just had an old one die that had setpoint already on it). The new computer doesn't already have setpoint on it, so I can't change existing settings for setpoint. I am waiting to hear back from an email I sent to support to see if there is a workaround, as I don't have "administrator" rights to my machine.
