I have a Cordless Click Plus mouse as part of a wireless keyboard and mouse combo. It is several years old but other than the fact the battery no longer holds a charge still going strong and I have no desire to part with it.
All I need is a replacement for the twin battery pack in the mouse and I am unable to find one that is the correct power and holds down the switch in the battery compartment.
How do I get a replacement battery pack so I can keep using this excellent product?

Hi UKUser,
The Cordless Click Plus mouse is unfortunately no longer being produced and as such we do not offer any replacement parts for it.

Actually the above reply does not appear to be correct.
I have just ordered a battery for Cordless Click! Plus Rechargeable Optical Mouse (M/N M-RAK89B only) from the Logitech spare parts store. The above being the model number on my mouse.
The postage is a bit excessive but the battery is available in the Mice and Keyboards section at http://www.logitech.com/en-gb/349/4872?debug=0

I got in a fix today since I couln't keep the battery charged so I took out the rechargeable battery pack, placed a small piece of scotch-tape on the micro-switch below the battery pack and reloaded the mouse with 2 regular NiMH rechargeable AA batteries. So far it is working like a charm.
