Same Version after Updating Setpoint?

[ Edited ]

Hello

After Updating my Setpoint 4.6 via the updating tool, I read the following in Setpoint:

Version: 4.60.122

Driver Version: 4.60.122

Does that mean my Setpoint has not been updatet to 4.7? Do I have to install 4.7 manually?

HiSmiley Happy,

Which mouse are you using SetPoint with? If its a gaming mouse (G-series mice, Mx 518), it would be best to stick to version 4.6.

Re: Same Version after Updating Setpoint?

Yes, I am using a g5! So because there seem to occur several bugs with Setpoint 4.7 combined with this mouse, I should stick to Setpoint 4.6 without ever updating it via the updater? Because, as I said, I updatet 4.6 and it has not been updatet to 4.7. Due to Setpoint, it is:

Version: 4.60.122

Driver Version: 4.60.122

Now I am a bit confused and don't know if it has been updated to 4.7 (but still showing me 4.60), or if it's in fact 4.6 which is installed on my system Smiley Happy

HiSmiley Happy,

If it's showing the version as 4.6, then it hasn't updated to 4.7 yet. A sure fire way to ensure that you really have version 4.6 i to uninstall SetPoint and reinstall the desired version.
