Re: SetPoint 6.20 is available for download ..... 11/18/2010 (Mice)

MX3200 wireless Keyboard; Got this problem:

When I press the FN+STAMP keyset (open the right mouse button menu function), it opens at the location of the mouse, and NOT where i want him to open.

Any solution, before I uninstall them, and go to buy a cheaper wired keyboard ? ^^

Bugs with 6.20

There are some bugs

- the update finds every time when started a new update

- don't remember the settings when the update should downloaded and installed automatically

- mouse and keyboard are not identifiend (complete dialog has only the extra button), sometimes a reboot seems to help or a new installation but ofter this the same problem

Re: SetPoint 6.20 is available for download ..... 11/18/2010 (Mice)

I just bought the new wireless K800 backlit keyboard and the M515 mouse. Installed both the Unifying software and the latest SetPoint 6.20.50 software on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64-Bit OS laptop.  All seems to be working nicely.  However, I have one question (and a gripe).  That is, with my old SetPoint software and my old VX nano mice I was able to program the middle click wheel or button to perform a "Double-Click" function.

This new Setpoint software does not offer such an option to configure the M515 mouse middle button to perform a "Double-Click".  I don't see it listed anymore as an option.  So why did Logitech remove this incredibly useful function?  I am hoping someone at Logitech is reading this and can help to please ask the development team at Logitech to add back the "Double Click" programmability to the middle button(s).  Please acknowledge if this will be added back in the next software update release.

Thank You!

Hello Infobits,

You should be able to program the middle click as a double click. In Select Task, click Other which should open a drop down menu with Double Click as an option.

I have the MX revolution (first version) and Setpoint 6.2 seems to have reduced the functionality of the gear shift. On 4.8 you could still change from free spin to click-to-click by clicking the wheel, no matter what mode you had it in, but on 6.2 the gear shift only works if you have it in that specific mode.

If ‘Enable Smooth Scrolling’ is enabled with the M950, I can't scroll my Bookmarks menu in Google Chrome.

It also makes scrolling extremely inaccurate.

Coupled with the fact that the scroll wheel on the M950 is exremely 'clunky' to begin with.

Re: SetPoint 6.20 is available for download ..... 11/18/2010 (Mice)

Thanks for the reply but I said, there is no "Double Click" option to select in the new software for my M515 mouse.  I select "Other" and in the drop down list it gives, there is no such choice to program the middle button.  Please fix this.

Also, I have just noticed and encountered an annoying characteristic of this mouse.  In MS Outlook when I try to scroll the emails listings it jumps all over the place and is out of control.  The fine scrolling of 1 line increment seems not to be working smoothly... I cannot control it.  The mouse scrolling wheel is sporadic and won't let me land on the line I want.  It always scrolls past where I want it to be and I cannot control it.  I also notice that the M515 scroll wheel sometimes has click stop feels to it and at other times the wheel just rolls smooth without click stop notches to it.  Is this by design or is it a mouse scroll wheel mechanical defect.

Re: SetPoint 6.20 is available for download ..... 11/18/2010 (Mice)

I have encountered a bug. All of my application specific settings changed to the main button settings. This happened after I changed the main button settings. I changed an extra button from other(copy) to space, then hours later back to other(copy). I'm on windowsXP. Also keystroke assignment is limited to 2 button press combination. I have use for 3 button press combination and would like to see support for that added.

Re: SetPoint 6.20 is available for download ..... 11/18/2010 (Mice)

DEAR LOGITECH,

WAKE UP!

G5 SE, Win7 Home x32. The suggested driver speeds up unreasonably the mouse and resets all programmed buttons in many applications.

Do your job as programmers and developers so I could do my job as your customer, please.  (An over $100 mouse has to pay its price).

As you have seen (if you ever check your forums) we want feedback from you as of what is going on.

Thank you

Re: SetPoint 6.20 is available for download ..... 11/18/2010 (Mice)

Are there some news? 6.20 is buggy and doesn't work.

The software cannot see my K800 and also not my Performance MX mouse, the update application always showing that there are new updates available and does not remember the settings for the automatic updates.

Some major bugs which needs an update.

Logitech, is there anybody out there?
