"I just got a replacement M515 mouse and it still mis-behaves in Microsoft Outlook email when trying to use the scroll wheel to scroll through my emails. It just cannot scroll one line at a time. It jumps in big chunks and is very sensitive to the scroll wheel movement. It only happens in MS Outlook email software. Scrolling 1 line at a time works fine in the browsers and other software."
I too have grown very frustrated with my M515 mouse when trying to scroll messages in Outlook. No matter that I've set the mouse to scroll 1 line at a time. In Outlook it jumps about 5 or 6 lines erratically every time I touch the wheel. I cannot move the wheel slightly enough to even tell how many lines it is jumping.
Only happens in Outlook. In IE it scrolls very smoothly and under control.
So what is the problem with the M515 and Outlook? Has anyone found a solution?
This is the only quirk I have with my M515 that really makes it a useless mouse. I'm sure Logitech could fix it if they chose to do so. How about it Logitech?

I have the same mouse, M515 and had the same problem with scrolling in Outlook 2010. I also got a replacement under warranty -- which scrolled the same way. I found that unchecking the "Retain OS settings" box made a big difference. That's in Setpoint 6.32, Win 7 64bit. The Game Settings menu on the right side.

Hello,
I have the same problem with SetPoint 6.32 (win7 32bit). Setpoint was crashing frequently so I reinstalled it but something goes wrong during installation (actually it was not finished). Then I tried to uninstall (no success - process stopped on initial step) or revert to previous version - 6.20 and 4.80 (this time I got the "newer version installed " message).
Revo (with advanced scanning method and delete all registry entries found) does not help also.
At the time being I am with stock Microsoft drivers (no options for additional bottons etc), and three Logitech devices connected to my PC...

I have owned a V220 mouse for a while. When I downloaded setpoint 6.20 for my Windows XP laptop, it all worked fine. However, after installing setpoint, I turned off my computer. After some trial and error, I learned that whenever I installed setpoint, then the custom key combinations would only work until my computer was turned off. After that, I would have to uninstall and then reinstall Setpoint to be able to use my custom key comboes once again. It has become quite a hassle, and it is very frustrating.
