Setpoint Stopped Working

I continually lose the configuration on my MX Revolution without warning.  I have the scroll wheel push assigned to "ESC" and the sidewalk works the volume and mutes when I push it.  It no longer works.  I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling setpoint, and nothing.  This has been an ongoing issue.

Re: Setpoint Stopped Working

Hello ghelsel,

I would suggest deleting the User.xml file.

1. Exit out of Setpoint, ensure its not running in the taskbar.

2. Browse to the following location and delete the user.xml file

XP: C:\Documents and Settings\%username%\Applicationdata\Logitech\Support

Vista\Windows 7: C:\Users\%username%\Appdata\Roaming\Logitech\Support

Note: You will need hidden files and folders turned on.

3. Reboot, Open up Setpoint and you will have to re-configure all your settings.

Kind Regards,

Re: Setpoint Stopped Working

The folder "C:\Users\%username%\Appdata\Roaming\Logitech\Support" does not exist.  There are two folders in the Logitech folder, "SetPoint" and "WEB".  There is no "Support" folder.

Suggestions?

Re: Setpoint Stopped Working

Got it back!!  I have F-Secure anti-virus/firewall.  I uninstalled SetPoint.  I uninstalled my HID Compliant device from the device manager. Then allowed all network traffic through F-Secure firewall, and reinstalled setpoint.  Restarted the computer, and my MOUSE tab is back.
