Unfortunately, the T630 mouse is not supported on Ubuntu or Linux. Based from FAQ 44542, this mouse is only supported on the following Operating Systems:
Mac OS 10.6.8 or later
I hope this information helps.

His question was not about whether it is officially supported on Linux, but whether it works on Linux. I suspect it does considering the T620 works on Linux (I know because I have it). I haven't tried the T630 myself, but I'm tempted to do so. Though, I don't know why Logitech doesn't officially support Linux. It shouldn't be that hard considering others have managed to reverse engineer it and provide a lot of unofficial support (e.g. Solaar).

Thanks for the note, PaulHallum.
I am interested to know this too (Logitech T630 with Ubuntu 13.10), and it is unfortunate that the staff of Logitech is only able to refer to the specification instead of actually trying out the mouse with a Ubuntu laptop in order to tell us, with or without official support. By the way, Linux is already more popular than Windows or Apple in the form of Android and it **bleep** that such a great hardware company like Logitech would not even consider supporting the OS. At least endorse Ubuntu, Red Hat and OpenSUSE!

I have bought the Logitech Ultrathin Bluetooth Mouse T630 and successfully paired it with Ubuntu 13.10. Please note that the mouse will NOT reconnect automatically after a reboot. As for the cursor, so far, so good, and I state this because previous versions of Ubuntu handled Bluetooth mouse so badly that it is unusable... that is, the cursor lags so badly. As for the T630 touch gestures, it has mixed results. For example, in GNOME, when I am reading in Firefox, the scrolling down tends to "switch desktop workspace".

I just bought the Ultra Thin Touch Mouse for use with my Ubuntu laptop (13.10). The best help I found online was this write up: http://ralphm.net/blog/2013/10/10/logitech_t630.
So far I am very happy with the results.

Thank to all about how it works in Ubuntu and for link with more details! Main mouse just arrived and I like how it works. Just I supposed would be possible make clicks with touch but it doesn't work like this ¬¬ Any sugestion to activate this?
Logitech, I understand that you don't support Linux but writing, at less, at the bottom that basic funcionality works in Linux would be very apreciated! I have a lot of your products, all working in Linux (Ubuntu) so why don't add this information in packaging?
