Re: Tap Right-Click Wireless Touchpad?

Would also like to request more adjustments and features be added to Setpoint to support the Touchpad more fully.

So many things can be done, just look at Synaptics options, (I guess they require a licence to use though...)

Re: Tap Right-Click Wireless Touchpad?

Let's work on being able to edit the functions of ALL the available gestures for the next release of SetPoint as well as creating our own (2, 3, 4 finger tap).  I'm imagining I'd enjoy 3-finger tap = Copy and 4-finger tap = Paste...

Have a look at these videos, for some ideas, like rotate..

Re: Tap Right-Click Wireless Touchpad?

"Hi Zeeman,    I will certainly forward your suggestion to the appropriate department for consideration in future updates."

j_briggs, is there any news on this?  I like the touchpad but it's pretty much useless without a right-click gesture like 2-finger tap that's been discussed previously.

Re: Tap Right-Click Wireless Touchpad?

Hi Nasty64,

While we cannot promise anything being added with new software changes i can assure you that the development team is seeing the suggestions that are being made, If something can and will be implemented it will show up in a futrue software update.

Re: Tap Right-Click Wireless Touchpad?

I too am sorely missing the ability to use two-finger-tap to right-click.  Two-finger-taps are a very ergonomic way to right-click.

It is great to see feedback from the team on this feature.

Thanks for your consideration,

John

Re: Tap Right-Click Wireless Touchpad?

I just got a wireless touchpad, and I really like it (the feel, the solidity of the hardware, the ergonomics, etc.) but the missing features are a big problem for me.

I was hoping to be able to duplicate the functionality of the touchpad on my MacBook Pro with Lion, including two-finger tap for right-click, three-finger drag, and 'natural' scrolling.  i.e. the reverse of the current scrolling direction.

Adding an option to reverse scrolling direction (as if you're pusing the document or page, instead of moving your point-of-view) plus the two-finger tap and three-finger drag, would make this a terrific product.

p.s. rotate would be nice too

Re: Tap Right-Click Wireless Touchpad?

I would like to chime in here to say that I too would like to see support for these:

2-finger tap = Right mouse click

3-finger tap = scroll wheel click (aka middle click)

Re: Tap Right-Click Wireless Touchpad?

I second everyone's suggestions. It doesn't make sense that I can go without utilizing the physical buttons until I have to right click. Two-finger tap to right click would be great. And three-finger tap to activate scroll wheel/middle click would be great additions. Right now, the touchpad software is lacking on core functions.

Re: Tap Right-Click Wireless Touchpad?

Mine's in a drawer until (if) they fix the 2-finger right tap click thing.  It's useless to me without it.
