Hi Guys,

a couple of things -

1) We need a forum category to cover Touch Mouse and Touch Mouse Server. If you agree, please could you add this post to a newly formed category?

2) Really love TM & TMS - works well for both PC & Mac! It would be further improved if:

a) It supported a mechanism for Ad-Hoc WiFi not requiring a common WiFi Network (if possible?)

b) Could utilise Bluetooth as an alternative to WiFi where a common Network is not present/accessible.

c) Could replicate alternative keyboard layouts, for example to replicate cursor keys to support use as a presentation remote

(NB. I've noted that the backspace/delete iPhone key in Touch Mouse acts to navigate to 'previous slide' on PowerPoint for PC, but its use requires great faith, for fear you'll start deleting presentation slides!).

Hi,

I have been using TM for a few days now and would like to add to the list of wants posted previously. 

1- would it be possible to disable the TM's virtual keyboard (say a settings option). I am using it in conjunction with a bluetooth keyboard and find that all too often I hit that corner of the screen that launches the virtual keyboard

Better yet, can you make something like Apple's wireless keyboard with an integrated trackpad, say something similar to how the powerbook is laid out. It would be great if it is bluetooth or your 2.4 Ghz wireless link, but it would be great if it is one unit that has both the keyboard and the trackpad (in the center please, not to the side).

Hi Guys,

I downloaded this app and the server software. But, when I am trying to connect to my PC (Windows Vista) from the app, it is not getting detected. Is it because both my iPod touch and Laptop are already connected to internet through Wi-Fi? Kindly help me troubleshoot this problem.

While we're at it, how about adding "tab" to the virtual keyboard?

Don't have any idea where else to put this.  Problem I'm having... I'm left handed and my mouse driver is set up as such.  And even though I have changed the "Primary Button" setting in Touch Mouse, every time that I tap the pad I get the right mouse menu.  It swaps the buttons at the top and the labels, but every time I move the mouse and let go a right mouse menu drops down.  VERY annoying.

I will say, THIS IS A GREAT APP!  Could use a tad more development (this from a QA Analyst), but the connectivity and set up are wonderful, along with the responsiveness of the controls.  Kudos to Logitech.

One flaw and one issue for me.

Flaw: same as many others mentioned in Hong Kong App Store review, TM can't input double byte characters like Chinese from the buildin input from iPhone.
Issue: Can't double click and drag windows title bar in Mac. It's interpreted as double click only. Dragging only works for scroll bar for my experience.

Since I have a dynamic IP address, and I'm also on my university's network I must type in my (changing) IP address everytime I'd like to use this application. I set up a DNS host that forwards to whatever my IP address changes too, but it seems Touch Mouse only accepts IP addresses. 

Anyway this can be changed?

i'm having difficulty installing on Mac OS 6.2 Snow Leopard. It downloads and i see the mounted drive on my desktop top, but when i double-click itouch server, nothing happens.

This is a great little app.  It works great for presentations on my intel 10.6.1 macbook pro, but crashes immediately on my 10.4.11 PPC mac mini that I use as a media center.  The console crash says:

dyld: Symbol not found: ___stack_chk_guard

Referenced from: /Applications/iTouch-server.app/Contents/MacOS/iTouch-Server

Expected in: /usr/lib/libSystem.B.dylib
