Does anyone know if Logitech has any plans to release a Cordless Optical TrackMan that uses the unifying receiver? The MK710 keyboard is really tempting, but I can't switch back to a normal mouse, and I'd rather keep using my corded Microsoft trackball than add another dongle to my desk.

The M570 is a step in the right direction, but it's a small step. Now just give the same treatment to the Optical Trackman!

Agreed. The finger control of the Optical Trackman is FAR superior to that of the thumb control on the M570. I'd love the unifying receiver on an Optical Trackman - I use a laptop, and that hockey puck is a pain!!!

I've got to add my support for this as well. A finger-operated trackball (like the Optical Trackman) with a unifying receiver is way overdue. I'd even be happy with a Bluetooth version to eliminate the need for an extra piece completely. Either way, however, Logitech really needs to step up to the plate.

I ended wrapping up the cord... less annoying - but I wonder just what all is in that hockey puck? Can't imagine the hardware really needing that much room.

Dear Logitech,
I'm typing on a keyboard that uses a unifying receiver (K800). Love it. I have you Cordless Optical Trackman, close second to my Microsoft Trackball Explorer. I also have the Squeeze Box Radio and I'm loving it too. Keep up the awesome work.
Oh, yeah when are you going to make something like the Microsoft Trackball Explorer that used the unifying receiver. People would go nuts for an item like that. Just saying...
Thanks,
Loyal Customer

Good Day, Does anyone know if logitech offeres the unifying stick for older wireless trackball mice? have a trackman which is about 2 years old and really prefer not to have to buy a new one.

Just bought mine. The M-570 was in stores. Hated it. Who's brilliant idea was it to create a tiny, thumb-controlled trackball. Saw the trackman, just got it in. What the hell is this reciever? How is this wireless? No bluetooth? No little reciever like the 570. This **bleep**. I'll play with it for a little bit to see if I can get used to it, but signs are pointing to me returning both and going back to my 15 year old Kensington Expert Mouse.
