Hello,
I'm having problem with Turkish characters in IE9 when ScrollApp is enabled.
I hope you guys can fix it for the next version cause I really liked this small app but I can't use it because of the problem it caused when typing Turkish characters in Internet Explorer.
Now, some information about my system that can be useful for you:
1. what is your regional settings (region & language: format, location, keyboards & languages, system locale)
Display language: English
Default input language: Turkish (Turkey) - Turkish Q
Format: Turkish (Turkey)
Current location: Turkey
Keyboards: Turkish Q and US
Languages: Turkish (Turkey), English (United States)
2. What is the program used to write in Turkish?
I used Internet Explorer 9 (9.0.8112) and below are the Turkish characters that I've tested in www.google.com page.
When you press "ı" it shows "1" in lower case (false) and "I" in upper case (true)
When you press "i" it shows "i" in lower case (true) and "0" in upper case (false)
When you press "ğ" it shows nothing both in lower case and upper case.
When you press "ü" it shows "ü" in lower case and "Ü" in upper case. (Both true)
When you press "ş" it shows "_" in lower case and "^" in upper case. (Both false)
When you press "ö" it shows "ö" in lower case and "Ö" in upper case. (Both true)
When you press "ç" it shows "ç" in lower case and "Ç" in upper case. (Both true)
As you can see, only 4 characters have a problem.
lower "ı" ("i" without a dot on it)
upper "i" ("I" with a dot on it)
lower and upper "ğ" (soft "g" or "g" with a dash on it)
lower and upper "ş" ("s" with a dot under it)
3. What is input method used?
I typed those characters with a keyboard with Turkish character set.
4. OS language?
System: Win7 Ultimate, x86, English
Mouse: Logitech Anywhere MX, SetPoint 6.32.20, ScrollApp 3.00.31
Thanks in advance.
Regards.

I have the same problem with Flow Scroll when using with IE9 on Windows 7. But the difference is I have Thai language keyboard input as a second language. After installing Flow Scroll, Thai language keyboard input does not work. The keyboard bottons change to other alphabets. The English language works fine. I found that Flow Scroll had some problems with other languages, too.
I have to disable Flow Scroll add-on in IE9. Then, everything works fine as usual.
Logitech should correct this software error.

I have the same issue with Scroll Appliation with Internet Explorer 9 and Cyrillic. I like this app but I am forced to disable the IE addon as it is unusable.

Just received an m600 and am delighted with quality of the mouse.
Like the experience of the Scroll App.
But there's one catch: In IE9, when switching to Russian keyboard layout (Cyrillic characters), garbage starts to appear in any input window on any Web Page as you type.
- The rest of the system is not affected.
- The address bar is not affected, you can type in Russian layout without problems.
- Chrome and Firefox with Logitech Flow Scroll add-ons which I tested are not affected, web page input fields accept Russian characters properly.
- If "Logitech Flow Scroll" IE Add-On is disabled, you lose silky smooth scrolling, but you can type in Russian without problems.
That localizes the problem down to IE, and Logitech Flow Scroll add-on.
I am not sure why mouse control application affects keyboard, but it is so.
Please, it shouldn't be difficult to correct this.
Obviously some DLL somewhere is not national languages aware.
A company like Logitech which is seriously international definitely knows how to write NLS enabled software, I'm sure.

Addition/Correction:
In Facebook, in certain windows, you can type text in Cyrillic just fine.
In other places, the error manifests itself.

*Bump*
Really annoying problem for a great piece of hardware...
I have to use Chrome to reply in Cyrillics on a Russian webpage.
Most interesting is, whether this problem is so hard to fix.
Cheers

I have to draw attention to this thread again.
Either the
problem with entering national language text into FlowScroll-enabled Internet Explorer
affects only a limited subset of customers, and is not high on priority list.
Or it's something inherently difficult to fix.
The current version of FlowScroll is 4.0.33.0 and the bug is still present. It affects only some of the windows -- other windows do enter text correctly.
If this does not get any response, I guess the solution lies outside the forum.

Dear All,
Having had the same issues you encountered with Scroll Flow 4.00.33 & non-US/ US-Internatioal keyboard layouts, I pursued this issue a bit more.
While the double-F12-click use in IE9 seems to work indeed (as someone pointed out), this is still just a workaround and not a full solution to the issue at hand.
You may be happy to learn that the newly released version 6.51.8.0 of SetPoint, that integrates the ScrollFlow functionality (no need for a separate install in Win7), seems to have solved the problem once and for all
At least on my machine (Win7 Ultimate-SP1-64bit) it works like a charm now, irrespective of the keyboard language layout I am trying to use.
Hope you will find the above helpful.
Enjoy!
Rougena
