Mice and Pointing Devices

I'm not sure if there's a better place to ask uberoptions questions... Anyway, while using the MX1100, if I remap the two sensitivity buttons to anything (keystrokes, actions, etc), they perform those actions as well as their normal DPI adjustments! This kinda **bleep** since I really just want to keep my mouse sensitivity as is. Is there anyway to get around this?

Also, I recently upgraded to Vista x64 and experienced a new issue. Tilting the scroll wheel left works fine, and pressing to the right once works fine, but if I hold to the right, it will scroll left. Holding left works perfectly, however. I've checked the settings in setpoint and they are each set correctly to scroll left and right, so I don't know where this is coming from.
