Dear Logitech,
I have a V470 Bluetooth mouse used with my Dell Inspiron 9400 laptop. Since a while the wheel's left and right movement is not working on the mouse. I've realized that Setpoint has no "my mouse" tab, I don't know when it has vanished.
I've installed and reinstalled several versions of Setpoint, e.g. setpoint472bt_v270v470.exe, but without any success.
I've realized that even after reinstall the Device Manager shows my mouse as "HID-compliant mouse" used with c:\windows\system32\drivers\mouclass.sys and mouhid.sys.
I've tried to rename c:\windows\system32\drivers\wdf01000.sys to wdf01000.bak, reinstalled setpoint 4.72, but wdf01000.sys was not recreated.
The "refresh driver" -> "have my own disk" -> use c:\program files\common files\logishrd\cddrv2\lfmouhid.inf said: "not found any possible drivers". Then with device manager I've found that the HW ID of my mouse (PID_4503) is not in this inf file, so I've entered two lines
[ForAllNT]
%PID_4503.Mouse.Desc% = LOGIHIDMOUSE,HID\VID_0A5C&PID_4503&Col01
%PID_C041.mouse.desc% = LOGIHIDMOUSE,HID\{00001124-0000-1000-8000-00805f9b
[Strings]
PID_4503.mouse.desc = "HID-compliant Bluetooth Mouse"
After these, selecting lfmouhid.inf with the "Have disk" option works, I see "HID-compliant Bluetooth Mouse" in the device manager, but still no "my mouse" tab, so I cannot define the buttons with setpoint.
What should be the next step? Install Windows7 ? ![]()
Thanks in advance,
Gogulus

Hi there,
I have the same problem with my V470 on a Dell XPS M1730 with WinXP and Widcomm BT stack installed. I had SetPoint 4.80 installed, in the BT connection manager it listed the V470 as connected, but no "MyMouse" showed up (it showed up once after I had installed SetPoint and connected the V470, but after reboot MyMouse tab was gone), only "My Keyboard" with my Illuminated Keyboard shows up. Now I upgraded to SetPoint 6.32, MyMouse still doesn't show up. Any suggestions how to make "MyMouse" show up again?

Hi FlorianT,
Please check this FAQ and try the trouble shooting suggested for a Windows XP computer:
Keyboard and Mouse tabs are missing in SetPoint

Hi there,
here's the cause of the problem:
first I checked my device manager, the HID created by WIDCOMM BT stack had a VID FFFF and a PID 0000.
After I reinstalled the BT stack the BT-HID shows the right VID and PID and my V470 is recognized by SetPoint again.
