V470, mac, and games

I got the v470 and works great for normal use. I am on the latest version of Mountain Lion for Mac. When i play games it will drop and i can't do anything. I can switch windows and it works fine, but with the game i can't control the camera. I've tried restarting the mouse and nothing helped. Nothing in the options seems to make a differance. It is like the game becomes oblivious to the mouse after about 10 minutes.

Hello rmills963,

We could try to make sure that the Bluetooth connection stays on while you are in the game. It may also help to install the Logitech Control Center software. You can download it from the V470 Downloads Page.

I hope this helps rmills963, please let me know how it goes.

Re: V470, mac, and games

Hello rmills963,

Since this issue is only happening when you play games, perhaps you could try to contact the support team for the games you are playing for further assistance. They might help you to find out if the games that you are playing support Bluetooth devices and if they are fully compatible with your OS.

I  hope that you find this information useful rmills963, and that you continue to enjoy your V470.

Re: V470, mac, and games

As it turns out, the second i interact with the trackpad while i have the mouse connected to a game, the game stops responding to the mouse, currently i have disabled the trackpad while a wireless mouse is connected, but i would greately appreciate if you can fix the logitech softwrae, thanks rmills963
