I love my VX and find it quick enough for gaming and love all the buttons BUT, that middle button is sooo mushy. After taking some time and investigated the innards, I removed the spring and behold! THE MUSHYNESS IS GONE! Responce is firm and well controlled. I now consider my mouse to be perfect. I do not recommend doing this yourself * but I do recomend logitech reconsider how the middle button can be improved.

* The Silicon pads have a layer of foam padding and will tear unless you are super humanly careful. I'm sure a tech would have replacements on hand before attempting to open it. I just reglued mine on and thats fine with me. I'm only posting this because I feel it's such an improvement.
