Hi
,
Weather MouseWare is usable for this depends on which mouse you are using. The newer models all use SetPoint exclusively and are unable to utilize MouseWare.

I'm having this same issue since upgrading to 4.60.122.... Also had the misfortune of having the install fail on a driver file: wdf01000.sys. But that is solved as per instructions here on the forums.
This scroller issue is really a pain..... adding other "tools" to augment functionality that was there is not a solution, as suggested by someone else.

I will try anything at this point but I agree this should be on a high priority list to get fixed right away. I bought the VX revolution because it is supposed to be the "World's most advanced mouse" and I can't use it in the application I use most! What's most aggravating is that the horizontal scroll works! I wish it was reversed! I could do without horizontal scrolling but not vertical scrolling. If horizontal scroll works, then I'm sure fixing vertical scrolling should be quite easy.
For the Logitech support people -- PLEASE ESCALATE THIS ISSUE so it gets fixed ASAP.
Thanks!

It seems that in the effort to improve the Setpoint Product Logitech has somehow disabled the Scroller that works in VB 6.0.
I have confirmed this by uninstalling 4.6.122, rebooting, renaming the WDF01000.sys file, re-installing Setpoint 4.0.121 no reboot, verifyling the WDF01000.sys file, rebooting. All scroller functions work! PS I did not allow update checking during this process!!!
I repeated the process and re-installed 4.6.122 and scroller functions dead in VB 6.
Right now I'm running 4.0.121 and disabled update checking. All is as it was prior to 4.6.122 YEEE HA!
Ball is back to you LogiTech.... Please fix 4.6.122.

Hello;
I have the same problem with setpoint 6.32.7
I also tried VBScroll but it doesn't work.
If I quit Setpoint and connect a standard wheel mouse, it works normally.
It looks like a problem with Setpoint...
I hope to get some indication, though this thread is dead since 2008
Thanks to everybody
