Ok ... so there isn't any more T-BB18 courded mouse. Bummer ... Here is my story :
So i go and purchase the latest blue ball cordless mouse. Great mouse. Worked for a while then started dragging. Cleaned the ball and housing with a lint free cloth. Same you use for eye glasses works a little better then starts dragging again. So i removed the ball and inspected the mounting assembly. You would think that the engineers would stick with something that works... No it looks like instead of using the glass beads they are using the plastic housing to do the same thing. We are already spending close to 100 for the mouse you would think that is enough to have something that works well.
I checked out the website and they don't offer replacement bead parts for the new M570 only the ball. I am at the point of pulling the housing apart of an older mouse and placing it in the newer mouse just to have the glass beads so that it doesn't drag any longer.
M570 Bummer - The wireless battery will last over a year its a great product just stick with something that works. Take the design of the old mouse and put it in the new mouse ... Is that so tough ? Plus the warranty of the new mouse is only three years not five like the T-BB18. Are you trying to tell us something here ?
In many ways I agree with no coard why not have a courd the computer is right there. No batteries to replace it just works and works well. The only need for cordless is if you need some distance between your monitor and computer. Like a multimedia system.
Bummed out >>>> Another example of newer doesn't necessarily mean better. What we need is a redesign. The M580 with beads.

I agree with the rest of these messages. I have now worn out my second wired trackball wheel. I do not want to use the wireless for all the reasons stated. I am a very satisfied customer who wants to do repeat business. I have bragged this product up to family, friends and co-workers. I want to buy another!!!
You had the best product on the market and threw it away... WHY???

To All,
I do not believe that Logitech is monitoring this thread. If they are, they are ignoring our cry.
Possibly, the only way to get thier attention is for everyone who has the need for this product,
to contact Logitech and open a support/complaint form and to refer to this and other existing
threads regarding our needs.
The hope is that the squeaky mouse wheel gets the oil (reissued trackman corded wheel).
A Wheel fan.

Seems there is something missing after the edit by Taylarie.
BtW. you don't need petition you need competition and there is still something on the (japanese)market (with probaly low quality) that resamples corded Trackman Wheel.

As others have posted contacting logitech support to request return of the corded mouse has proven just as unsuccessful as posting to this thread. The petition praised logitech for the design and success of the corded mouse and asked that the mouse please be returned to production. Though there have been posts in this thread to competitors products such as Kensington that were not removed it is apparently against the TOS to post a link to a petition. Since Logitech appears to seriously want to push back on any organized effort to show unity on this issue the petition was removed. At some level Logitech is listening to this thread. Good luck to everyone on voicing their opinion.

It may be me but i don't find the section in
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/footer/terms-of-use
or
http://www.logitech.com/en-us/footer/terms-of-use/
that says online petitions are forbidden.
On the othe side the case of on of my old Trackman Wheel is starting to break. So i have only two left working. I am willing to 80€ for any brand new corded Trackman Wheel but there seems one one that have spare ones left. (I only get questioned by people who ones to buy my remaing two)
But when there are so many people wanting new corded Trackman maybe whe could buy the blueprints and give them any contract manufacturer.

I'm curious. Is it a violation to post links to petitions? I don't know what petition site was used since the link is gone but I believe there is twitter based petition site if someone wanted to start one. I'm in for a tweet if its out there.
I have contacted support by phone on the future production of the Trackman and it wasn't a positive experience. I was told in not so many words that secured environments need to get on board with wireless. Apparently, this person at Logitech has never worked in a highly secured environment where cell phones and all wireless transmitting devices are not allowed.
I'll throw it out there again. I'm willing to try the wireless version for home use if I were offered a 50% coupon (hint). It would be nice since I've lost track on how many trackman or earlier marble versions I've purchased perhaps 10+. Also have purchased webcams and speakers over the years. Sounds like a good customer appreciation offer to everyone who posted to this thread. Although in my situation I can only use wireless for home use hence Bring Back The Trackman Wheel USB!
