Re: Windows 8 support for Logitech TouchPad

I'm really disappointed. In all new gestures I only want the right click. What's the hardware limit to support two fingers' tap, given that it already supports two fingers' swap. It's stupid to click the button on a "touchpad", especially in a quiet night.

Re: Windows 8 support for Logitech TouchPad

Hi,

I have just bought the wireless touchpad (setpoint ver.6.5.152), I am using it with Win7x64, the 2 finger touch won't do the RIGHT click

Could you do the 2 finger touch for Right click with the OLDER version?

Thanks

Re: Windows 8 support for Logitech TouchPad

Would someone who has W8 installed, with the latest version of Setpoint, please report on their (older 910-002345) Touchpad experience per Paulina's above response with W8?  I would like to know this before I upgrade either Setpoint or W8. Thanks

Re: Windows 8 support for Logitech TouchPad

This new setpoint in windows 8 makes the four fingers scroll up(switch application) not work ,please fix it.

when I quit the setpoint , the four fingers scroll up works again.

Re: Windows 8 support for Logitech TouchPad

Hi guys,

I see that you have some concerns regarding the Wireless Touchpad gestures on Windows 8. Please keep in mind that the gestures that this touchpad supports are the same as the ones it supported on Windows 7. Please check the Gesture navigation with the Logitech Wireless Touchpad for more specific information.

seekwind and tony3333, the two finger tap feature for the right click, that you are looking for is only supported on Windows 8 with the Wireless Rechargeable Touchpad T650. This means that it may not work with the T650 on Windows 7, nor with the Wireless Touchpad on Windows 8.

threebeers I see that you want to get some feedback from users who have already tried the Wireless Touchpad on Windows 8. So far we don't have a thread with detailed information from users who tried this device on Windows 8. But if you tell me exactly what you wish to know, I'd be glad to help you with the research.

MX5500, I see that you are having some issues with the new version of SetPoint. Please try to uninstall and download it again from the website, in case the files were corrupted this could help us to fix the issue.

Please let me know if you have further concernsI hope you find the Logitech Touchpad that best fit your needs.

Re: Windows 8 support for Logitech TouchPad

Thanks Pau2108 for your reply. It's hardly let us think the Touchpad fit our needs. Yes, I know the right click only works on T650 on Win8. But it's not an excuse for why it can't work on Touchpad on Win8. Before you can convince me there is hardward limit, I can only think it's for market reason and that's why I'm disappointed as a long-time (more than 10y) customer.

Re: Windows 8 support for Logitech TouchPad

Hello seekwind,

As I understand, you are not very happy with the Wireless Touchpad support for Windows 8 computer. I'll be happy to forward this concerns to the right team, but please keep in mind that the Wireless Touchpad was not designed for Windows 8. It was intended to be used on a Windows 7 computer using the buttons on it as clicks.

I hope that you find this information useful seekwind, thanks for being such a loyal customer.
