For initial troubleshooting, try the suggestions on this article: Answer ID: 23486. Check if your mouse is being detected in the Device Manager. It should be listed under Mice and Other Pointing Devices. Test the mouse without the Logitech Setpoint Software installed. This is to check if the mouse works with the native driver of the operating system.

Hi, i actually figured it out. I have motioninjoy installed on my pc. I uninstalled it and it seemed to fix the problem. My mouse is working now. Thanks anyway for your reply!

Actually, I am having the same issue.
It wont work with the native drivers or after I unistalled and installed Setpoint and the unifying receiver software multiple times.
It still wont recognize the receiver or the mouse. I've actually even returned the mouse and got a new one to make sure it wasn't a physical issue.
Can someone help?

I have the same problem with an Asus Transformer T100 running Windows OS8.1. The M325 suddenly stopped working after a few weeks of usage. Battery is good. Answer ID 23486 -- with downloads of both Setpoint and Unifying software -- failed to solve problem, including after three re-starts of the computer. Unifying software fails to detect the receiver. The M325 is NOT detected in the Device Manager. Would appreciate further suggestions from Logitech support.
