bluetooth mouse stopped

My Logitech® V470 Cordless Laser Mouse for Notebooks stopped working suddenly.

I've replaced the battery and downloaded the latest driver, but even when I push the CONNECT button I can't get it to control the pointer.

Re: bluetooth mouse stopped

Hi:smileyhappy:,

Please try using the mouse with a different computer (if possible) to verify if it is a hardware problem. If the issue persists, please e-mail Customer Support  to process a warranty replacement.

Re: bluetooth mouse stopped

I messed about and found a way to 'reconnect' the mouse, but don't know why it lost touch with the PC.

Hi:smileyhappy:,

How did you get the mouse to reconnect?

Re: bluetooth mouse stopped

Wait a minute - YOU are the tech support people, right?

It's not easy to interface with some devices because they have their own 'apps' and the computer also has ways of 'talking' to them. I think I went to the Logitech program that 'talks' to the bluetooth mouse and 'woke it up,' but I'm not sure.

It's a nice little device, but I'm afraid the 'documentation' is inadequate - e.g. when I installed it I couldn't find out where to enter the 'password' or whatever is needed to connect to it: apparently 0000...someone on the phone (or chat, or...?) told me about this.

Re: bluetooth mouse stopped

I was just wondering if you used some alternative method to reconnect the mouse (always good to have more possible solutions:smileywink: ) What you did was to essentially make the receiver 'rediscover' the mouse.
