Mice and Pointing Devices

hi,

logitech touch mouse is a great peice of software and i have been using it on my htpc for some time.. for that, it is excellent!

however, i am trying to use it with my new pc and it cannot find the server.

if i manually enter the IP address it will connect fine, but as the IP addresses are DHCP allocated they sometimes change so it can become annoying.

the server is running on 32bit XP. there is an exception in the firewall and i have also tried disabling the firewall. it also runs AVG free and i have tried disabling AVG with no success. it still can't find the server!

does anyone have any suggestions??
