First: the plugin is functioning with my Mouse-Keyboard combo connected to my desktop.
But: since some days my M505 mouse isn't detected at my notebook anymore.
Also the mouse isn't listed on the site.
Environment: Firefox 10.0.2, Vista, German
Isn't this mouse supported in Germany anymore?
How can I be sure that the Unifying Software finds a possible FW-Update?

That is not my problem!
LDD is working. I checked with my other mouse from my desktop keyboard/mouse combo.
If I use the my native support site ( German, Germany ), there no support for the M505 anymore!
Changing to the US site gives the expected results.
I did not check all sites, but with other countrys ( Switzerland, Austria, UK etc. ) the situation is similar.
Therefore once again my question: Does Logitech not support anymore devices sold today?
BTW: The software isn't bundled with the mouse, therefore the user should find support on his native site.

Hello BeBiMa,
I apologize for misunderstanding your issue. The model number for the M505 shows up as the M525 on the support section of the Logitech German web site. Before I can report this as an error on the web site, please provide the M/N and P/N from the tag located inside the battery compartment of your mouse. To answer your question, yes Logitech does support the devices sold. I have provided a link to SetPoint from the German web site. http://www.logitech.com/de-de/428/9226?section=dow

My M/N and P/N are known. I first tried to contact support by mail.
But this gave no sufficient result. Therefore the post here.
And it is not my special problem.
It was a general problem on most of your sites!
Searching for "M505" gave a lot of links, but
- LDD can not find the device ( if you are not on US page )
- searching for M-RBY125 only yields V450 and M525
I just checked it. Therefore I'm writing in the past.
Now the situation is ok. ( for M505 )
LDD finds M505
Searching for M-RBY125 yields V450 and M505
Searching for M525 gives M/N: M-R0027( was s faulty till now ?)
The problem is solved. I don't expect a "thanks" or "apologize", the misunderstandings were to much.
As I wrote in the mail conversation, I regard Logitech a company making very good devices, selling them for a attractive price, but you can't expect really support.
That is my opinion for the moment. It is your turn to change it.
