I'm having the exact same problem as croker. Mouse is fine. Keyboard is recognized and the multimedia keys work, but the rest of the keys do not. Keyboard was working fine until a couple of days ago but is useless now.
Mac OS X 10.5.8
LCC 3.0

Figured out my problem and thought I'd post the solution here since at least one other person had a similar issue - and it took me hours to get to the bottom of this. (My alphanumeric keys suddenly stopped working on my Cordless Elite Duo keyboard, used in conjunction with a MacBook Pro.)
d) Press escape key on the cordless keyboard.
Nothing popped up on my screen as I performed this cryptic sequence - but upon completing it, everything was back to normal for me.

Attn: Cordless Elite Duo users,
We have received a unit from one of the users with the no device in LCC issue but after testing it is OK. (See picture below insdie the red frame)
The problem is not LCC, it is the unit. For some reason, the keyboard and mouse lost connection to the receiver.
How to reconnect: Keyboard
-Press connect button on the receiver
-Press connect button on the keyboard
How to reconnect: Mouse
-Press connect button on the receiver
-Press connect button on the Mouse
(You may need to use a pen to press the the samll red button on the mouse)

Reminder,
This thread is specifically to the LCC 'no Logitech device found' issues. If it met these criteria, then it is 'LCC no device issue'.
1. LCC supported products
2. The unit works with or without LCC
3. There is no Steermouse or similar utilities installed
If your unit is not working, mouse is not moving or keyboard is not typing for example, then it is not 'LCC no device issue'.
Thanks
