MX518 scroll wheel suddenly stopped working altogether. If i click it, it still responds fine, but doesn't work scrolling at all. Was fine yesterday, no problems whatsoever. I tried replugging it, and rebinding it in logitech software, but nothing helped. Maybe try restarting the computer? Hmm. Maybe it broke? Weird.

It sounds like the wheel is defective, please test it on a second computer for the same problem, that would confirm it.

If that is the case, please contact customer care in your region for a warranty inquiry, the MX518 has a 3 year warranty so it may still be covered, if not there may be some other way they can help you out.

Worked yesterdayon my W7 machine does not now ?? **bleep**

Mouse weel works with another mouse on the same W7 PC

Mouse wheel works on the Logitec MX518 Mouse on another (XP) computer 

So not general settings on W7 PC OR faulty hardware 

Getting sick of this crap with Logitech products, this is not the first time, what has changes between yesterday and today that the wheel does not work! 

Seriously dissapointed, wondering now if it is worth the effort logging a support call so I can get the computer generated or or some guy following some script to waste my time uninstalling driver and not reading my email propoerly
