Hi, i recently installed the above setpoint for various reasons, i have multiple user accounts on my pc & i have noticed that when i switch from one user to another , then back again, setpoint no longer functions most noticibly the scroll wheel, i have to exit setpoint from the sys tray & re load it again to make setpoint work again as i have set it up. this is very anoying as my kids frequently go on my pc on their accounts & when i come to use my account i costantly have to reload setpoint.
All was 'ok' in my previous setpoint version(think it was 4.x) it's what came with my mouse which is a performance mx.
I'm running win7 x64, 1 admin account & 2 standard account, problem always occurs when switching user....
Any help apreciated....

No solution I'm afraid, just the observation that I do not see this behaviour in my multi-user, 64-bit Windows & environment.
So something else may be getting in the way.

Hmm, i don't know what else could be getting in the way, only thing i have running as far as AV is concerned is microsoft security essentials & windows firewall + malwarebytes antimalware.
If i install setpoint 6.20, i have the same problem however if i open the mouse & keyboard settings in setpoint, all i have to do is click the apply button in the window & all is well again, don't even have to change anything or exit setpoint, just click apply.
upgrade to 6.32 & i actually have to exit setpoint & reload again...
May have to roll back to the original software again, but i had problems in BF3 after a while of playing.......

Ok i think i have solved it..
in the setpoinnt control panel, i wen to game settings, and under 'speed & acceleration' untick Retain os settings.
After that i switched user, then logged out, went back to my own account & the settings remained as i had set them....All seems well so far ![]()
EDIT:
Nope just woke from sleep, the scroll wheel doesnt scroll correctly, i can rotate the scroll wheel all day & it seems to only scroll .3 of a line at a time. Yes that is point 3.....this **bleep**.

I've had the same problem in Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. I tried restarting Setpoint, like you said, and it worked until today. The tabs for my mouse and keyboard are both missing, and the scrolling is hysterical (about 3 screens at one time). Each time I restart it, it does the same thing; ignores my mouse and keyboard. It seems like Setpoint is simply written in a manner that breaks when multiple users are logged in at ones. Please, Logitech, fix the problem already! It is getting quite annoying.

I wonder if this is another manifestation of the generic issue with SetPoint. It just refuses to write settings to the user.xml file.
Each user should have their own user.xml file here:
%USERPROFILE%\AppData\Roaming\Logitech\SetPoint
Are they there?

I am reporting the same problem. I'm running two user accounts on Windows 8 64 bit. I'm using Setpoint 6.51.8 (the latest). When I change user accounts, My touchpad does not work as expected. Looks like when I log off, some settings stop working all together for other users. If two users are logged in at once and don't have the same gesture settings, they conflict as well.
