I just got a new receiver for it but it wont and when i check setpoint it says that its a MX610 laser cordless mouse receiver but it looks like the right one but i wonder is the insides of it the wrong parts because it fits into the hole in the mouse for the receiver any help

What logitech calls "nano receivers" come in at least two flavours. Unifying and non unifying. The unifying ones have this logo:
The mouse and receiver should both have these symbols.
Maybe you have a receiver that is unifying for a mouse that isn't.
You need to track down the P/N to get the right bits from the Parts store for wherever you live.

The MX610 mouse is a left handed mouse. The best way to determine if you have the correct receiver for your mouse is to match the M/N and P/N, located inside the battery compartment, with the part number on the receiver.
