Microphones (READ ONLY ARCHIVE)

I just recently bought a Logitech headset, and i can get sound working ok, but the microphone wont work. I have tried it in game, and voiceover of a video. 

What might the problem be?

-Is it compatible only with pc?

-what settings can i change? ( I have been through the speech and sound settings and i dont know what else to do)
