I have just bought a $10 logitech mic from walmart that won't work.. I plugged it into the correct port on the back of my computer but my PC refuses to acknowledge that it exists. I have tried control panel, I have tried plugging it into other ports, it won't work. As far as I know it has no drivers. It plugs right into the microphone jack, not usb. I can't even find the product on the logitech webpage so I couldn't even look up support for it on the webpage. It's a Logitech Desktop Microphone 600.
What do I do? I need this to work by tomorrow and I can't even call logitech for help. =(

I am having the same issue. I bought the QuickCam Chat and it comes with a "headset bundle"...headset didn't work so I bought a standing $10 microphone ...both Logistics and nothing. I have done everything. The only thing my computer recognizes is a Realtek audio and not an Logistics at all. I have been to every download, every troubleshoot and nothing. Any advice. Mine is not a USB but has the two plug ins....one with a green end and one with a orange I think. But..................cam works wonderful.....but...nothing else.
Please help if you can!

Hi,
Your analog headset connects to the sound card. That would be the Realtek audio device.
Go to Control Panel/Sounds and set up the Recording for the RealTek Microphone.
Logitech Customer Support for further assistance.
You can also Email Us

Mike
