Hi,

AS has been posted here 400 times, it is your sound card that needs to be checked.

Re: Logitech ClearChat Stereo

Hi,

I must have missed all the details of your sound card and the fact that you have extra mic ports on your soundcard.

Also, I see that it was not the fault of the headset, but lack of knowledge about the soundcard operation.

You're welcome.

Re: Logitech ClearChat Stereo

Its my lack of knowledge that i searched on the internet that the clearchat stereo headset microphone port does not work if you put the MICROPHONE PEICE in the MICROPHONE port on your soundcard and not just on my card but mulitiple cards.... and yet it says on the instructions in the manual to put the it in the MICROPHONE port instead of putting it in the Digital Port? I'am sorry that it wasnt obvious that i should just guess to put it in the Digital sound port. :smileysad:

Re: Logitech ClearChat Stereo

Hi,

It's my guess, as I still don't know what sound card you have, that the "blue" port doubles as a digital optical out AND an analog mic in. This should be clearly marked on the documentation of your sound card.
