I must have missed all the details of your sound card and the fact that you have extra mic ports on your soundcard.
Also, I see that it was not the fault of the headset, but lack of knowledge about the soundcard operation.

Hi,
It's my guess, as I still don't know what sound card you have, that the "blue" port doubles as a digital optical out AND an analog mic in. This should be clearly marked on the documentation of your sound card.

Hi there, iv' been reading about the headset and im sorry but for me you could be talking chinese and it would be the same. I'm working from home and the headset that I have now is a piece of (word filter evasion). So the office gave me a Clear Chat Stereo but the mic is not working. What should I tell the guys at our IT department so they can make it york
