My Logitech Rockband Microphone shows up as "unknown" on windows vista, how do i correct this? I am running windows vista ultimate 32bit. It is a Compaq/hp laptop. It works in the xbox 360 (its native console) but not in windows, as a microphone. This just recently happened, because i was using this microphone for audio production previously...Thanks for your help...

Hi,
From the information you have provided, it sounds like you OS has done an Automatic Update that didn't fully install.
The test would be to use System Restore and go back a few days to the date that the mic worked on your computer.
Logitech Customer Support for further assistance.
You can also Email Us
Regards,
Mike

My Logitech Rockband Microphone shows up as "unknown" on windows vista, how do i correct this? I am running windows vista ultimate 32bit. It is a Compaq/hp laptop. It NO LONGER works in the xbox 360 (its native console) as well as not longer in windows, as a microphone. This just recently happened, because i was using this microphone for audio production previously. Can i send the microphone to Logitech for them to fix or replace? Thanks for your help.
