I've got that fresh new I got it the other day and the mic does not work i am not sure if i did a wrong setting in teamspeak or if i have to do some drivers but this is the first issue ive had with Logitech since i started with them 6yrs ago
can some one help please

Welcome to the New Logitech Community Forums Willx. 
Try testing your microphone on Windows Sound Recorder on your PC:
1. Click Start -> Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment and choose Sound recorder
2. Click record button and speak to see whether the green line moves to indicate the application picks the sound.
3. Click on Stop button and Play to check the sound. Make sure the device is selected
4. Click Edit Then Audio Properties and select the preferred device for Sound Recording
