Since getting a different PC with Windows XP SP3 I can not get the pc nor the harmony software to recognize the remote when I plug it up via USB. The Sync button stays yellow. I've tried different browsers, cords and ports. I've replaced the batteries.
I see there were many, many customers reporting this over the last few years. Did it ever get resolved?

The fourth cord I tried worked. The difference was that this cord plugged in easily while the previous ones seemed a bit tight. They all fit, but only the one that plugged in easily worked. All the cords look exactly the same. Weird.
