Hey I am also having this issue. It seems to be a very ubiquitous issue and is getting ZERO solutions on your end. further more the 'troubleshooting' steps appear to be an endless loop of BS answers. Its a real shame considering how much I enjoy Logitech's other products. I will be returning this remote for something that actually works and I guarantee it wont be Logitech.

I'm having the same problem with my 300 as everyone else.  A person should not have to jump through hoops to get a remote conneneted.  Sounds like Logitech has a problem on their end with so many people complaining about this.  I've also tried everthing in the trouble shooting and the remote is also recognized by my computer.

april 8th 2012 and still the software and myharmony are down.

Has this company gone out of business or are they just wanting to loose all customers?

I too was having the same problem - Widows Vista 32bit, Trend Micros Anti virus, but managed to crack it.  Disabled antivirus, and used Google Chrome to enter myharmony web site.  Up and running finally.  May actually work without having to disable the anti virus.  Give it a try.

I have been trying for hours with various browsers and nothing works. Despite the fact that the computer recognizes the remote - the software doesn't. What an insane product.

Logitech is dependent on Micrfosoft Silverlight to Logon to update Logitechs product... How stupid!

Logitech should demand Microsoft provide a software fix if Microsoft is in the Path.

At least have a Uninstall selection on the Startup Program for Silverlight.

There is a "PC Cleaner" product for just under 30 dollars that say's it can cleanly uninstall Silverlight.

I am sure that a hardcoded HKEY registry updates can be done thru the Startup Button in MS Windows..

So Logitech needs to get cooking with Microsoft to legally demand they fix their product.

Microsoft is at fault. Not Logitech with their 20 dollar remote ( HARMONY 300 LOGITECH REMOTE).

Uninstalled and reinstalled Silverlight. Nothing. Is there NO solution to this?!?!?
