Harmony 900 Software is a joke

each time I try to make an update the session times out. This is the worst Logitech product (and most expensive) I've ever bought. It's going back to the store today.

After all the setup nightmare, I've changed TVs and now after adding a new device, the TV won't turn on. It's a newer Sony LED TV.

Re: Harmony 900 Software is a joke

All of the setup is driven from Logitech's web site, and the site for the Harmony remotes is indeed being extermely slow this morning. It's never been this slow so this is probably just an anomaly. Normally the Harmony remotes program quite quickly and work quite well. I've had mine for over a year and have been very pleased with it. I understand the frustration; I've been trying to reprogram my remote this morning and encounter the same problems. But don't give up on the Harmony because of a temporary glitch. If you'll have patience and wait for these web problems to be resolved, I think you'll find the remote well worth it.

Thanks, it does seem faster today. I still have issues syncing (Bad Data Length) - I hope those resolve themselves as well.

Re: Harmony 900 Software is a joke

Logitech folks, if you are listening, the site is really bad right now. After almost every action I take in the software I get a "Session Timed Out" and have to re-login again.

Re: Harmony 900 Software is a joke

Looks like Logitech's servers/bandwidth was on and off all weekend.... Today, Monday, it's appearing to be back to normal.

Even though we're running local client software, the whole thing is really run off their servers.
