Harmony One / Philips HTS3051 Issues

I have the HARMONY ONE.  I just got the HTS3051 and trying to get it to function with my Samsung UN55B8000XF.

I have a new green power AV UPS to save some energy costs.  The goal is to have the HTS on master always powered/standby(not on).

However due to the below... I cant even attempt to do this.  Until this part is figured out below I dont want to even setup my XBOX360 or the HTS as my BLURAY.

No matter what I have tried I have been unable to get the following to work..

Watch TV - turn on HTS, input to COAX IN, turn on TV, input HDMI 2.

What happens is HTS turns on, INPUT HOME, TV never turns on. When it does, I have to use HELP to turn TV on.  Then the TV doesnt change to HDMI2 until I manually change HTS3051 to COAX IN.  Thats when TV switches to HDMI2.

The HTS always turns on and goes to home and doesnt change its input to COAX IN which watching TV, XBOX, BLURAY, media PC require.

None of this of course holds with the remote settings and I have to repeat.  My remote is upto date firmware and software wise.

I have tried changing the delays on both the TV and HTS ... to no luck.  I have heard there are recommended delays to use but havent figured it out.

I really want the HTS to be the main piece as its needed in watching TV, XBOX, BLURAY, and my media PC.

Ideas?

Re: Harmony One / Philips HTS3051 Issues

Hi LuckyLucOne,

Please disable the HDMI-CEC functions of your TV as well as your Philips HTS.  It is called Anynet+ on Samsung TV, and Easylink on Philips HTS.  Kindly consult your devices' user's guide on how to disable it.

Regards,

CJ

Have you tried connecting your devices's power directly to power outlet, just to test if your power strip is messing up the remote settings??
