I have the problem where the PS3 adapter won't power down my PS3. I am in Australia so assume I have the Asia Pacific version so need to add the PlayStation 3 (AP) device but can't seem to be able to do this with MyHarmony.
I added it using the specific model number - CECH-2502B so hoped that would work but no...
Can I only do this from the Harmony Remote software but not MyHarmony?? thanks

Hi
Did you try adding it as a Playstation 3 without the AP
It might also be that your PS3 firmware is not up to date as i had a case like this 3 weeks ago.

I've had the same issue since I got my Harmony 650. My PS3 firmware is up to date. The support FAQ would be great if the instructions were up to date...

Hey guys,
Try adding "PlayTV" or "Play TV" instead of "Playstation 3" as the device (choose Sony as the manufacturer).
I kept messing around with it and found PlayTV as an option under devices. All working fine for me now. PS3 shuts down correctly along with everything else.
Also, I think I should add that I'm able to setup the "Watch TV" Activity correctly now, would not work before.
Hope this helps!
