Have a Philips TV Model: 42PFL7403D/F7. Using My Harmony to set up activities. My TV is on HDMI1 and it directly connects with the Motorola box from Comcast. I mapped this in the setup; however, when I press Watch TV, the TV turns on and goes to HDMI1, then changes to AV1. The Motorola box turns on fine. I checked the TV to see if EasyLink is on it to turn it off, however, this TV does not have that in its menu selection. Any advice?

I had a very similar problem with a Philips 52PFL7403D/F7 TV where the inputs don't work correctly. As near as I can tell, the Harmony database is off on Philips input commands. Luckily I have a new AV receiver so I only have one HDMI to the TV now. I set the input to InputExt1 which switches my TV to HMDI 2. I have a Wii that is connected to AV2 so I use Input HDMI2. Seems the codes in the database are wrong. Good luck! setting up the Harmony for me was an all day activity and it still has a few kinks I can't get worked out.
For my Philips, I've got the following:
InputExt1 maps to HDMI 2
InputExt2 maps to HDMI 3
InputExt 3 maps to HDMI 4
I have no map to HDMI 1
InputHMDI1 maps to AV1
InputHMDI2 maps to AV2
InputHMDI3 maps to AV3
InputTV does not work as a code.

Hello Scrubbs,
Looking at the database it looks like we have the 42 and 47 models as well.
Try those. So same model number, but just replace the 52 with 42 or 47.
Usually if you inputs are not right if you try the same model, but in a size that is more common such as 42 or 47 they may work better.

Cat - Thanks for the quick response. It appears that the 42" has the same issue based on the OP. Can you confirm that the input codes for the 42 or 47 are different than the 52.

I swear, I don't know why I buy Logitech products. Funny how the company's with weak competition shrug their shoulders at their inferior products.
I found this thread with hopes that there was a fix to this ridiculous problem. I was not surprised to see that the issue hadn’t been fixed. Why bother I guess.
Any Logitech employees out there that want to prove to me that your company laughs at its customers, just offer up another workaround or lame excuse.
You should all be ashamed. This is an easy fix and NO ONE has bothered to fix it.

Hello Darrin,
I am sorry to hear that you are having trouble with your Harmony remote and Philips TV.
The best thing to do would be to call Harmony Support and have them look into this and maybe add some special coding to make this work properly.
Sadly we have to go by the codes given to us by manufacturers. If you are able to get the Hex codes directly from Philips you can then send them into support and they can add them to your account.

I have the same issue with the same TV. I would like to see a solution posted here.
I also tried reprogramming the buttons to send the "wrong" codes and this didn't work.
At this point, the only solution I know to try is to program the Activities to send the wrong code. The Device commands will still be wrong, but I probably won't use those directly to change input source.

I don't know if everyone figured out how to fix this problem, but its actually pretty easy. All you need to do is go to myharmony account select devices select the tv, then select change device settings. You'll see input settings then just follow the screen and should walk you through the rest. Hope that helps
