It would be nice if Logitech made some sort of a statement here about what the problem is and how long is it going to take to fix the problem. There's people on this board and on facebook that are close to returning their logitech item(s) because of the frustrating server problem.

Hello all,
We do apologize for the inability to setup and configure your Harmony remote on MyHarmony.com during these very busy two days. At times many of you experienced timeout and 'Server Error' messages throughout the day, while others had no problems at all.
If you are still getting error messages when logging in, adding/removing devices, or Sync'ing your remote, please start a new thread in the forums specific to your problem. There are other factors that generate these types of error messages, and if you still get errors after this high peak time, waiting longer will not solve the issue for you.
Thank you for your patience during this busy time.
DaneHarmony

You can use the 7.7 desktop software. That's what I did. I'm not sure if it's still available for download on Logitech but it's all over the internet. I think the 300 is the only remote which may not work with it. I programmed a new 600 with it, even though the instructions said to use myharmony.com

I lost registration of my harmony remote h300 on the LT Server.
Now my h300 is not LT remote. :-)
LT "7.7 desktop software" used LT Server too. :-)

Hate to say it but it looks like this is still a problem and it might not be due to server load ?
I was able to get into my account prior to your xmas downtime but now I cannot ? Any troubleshooting help would be appreciated as to where I might look on my workstation to root out a cause if the backend is reporting active connections . On the other hand it is apparently generating and sending log files to Logitech .
What is in these files and where might I find one ?

For Evilcd
I had a similar problem, now I know only 3 ways:
I. Create New Account for remote
II. Memo from LT:
---cut
1. Remove the batteries.
2. Press and Hold the Harmony "Power" button.
3. Reinsert the batteries while continuing to hold the Harmony power button.
4. Release the "Power" button, the buttons on the remote should now blink indicating it is in Safe Mode.
5. Connect your Harmony remote to your computer using the USB cable provided.
6. Go to myharmony.com website and log into your account.
7. Hover your pointer over "Sync" in yellow, it will bring out a tab with "Sync Now".
8. Click "Sync Now".
9. Go through the process of Syncing your remote.
10. Test your Harmony remote with your Devices.
---cut
III. Replacement remote in the SHOP.
For my h200 I chose Variant No.3. :-)
But h300 not working now, may be variant No.3 too ?!

Maybe someone in your company should get off there **bleep** and send out an email to folks whom recorded errors with the setup for 3/4 days. I'm not interested in your excuses about how busy it was.Its not proffessional and quite patheritc service.

Hi Dane,
Its the 28th and its STILL not letting me sync my remote. Keep getting the 'Server error' message. How long will this continue? Pls let me know if there is a confirmed date for resumption of service. This is getting really annoying now.

It's ironic that downloading codes on-demand via internet server would have made more sense in the era of sub-1Mb connections. Now when people can easily download large amounts it wouldn't be too hard to include the entire database in software rather than requiring an internet server.
I mean, they're ****ing IR codes, how much space can they take up even if there are miliions of them? It's not a new technology, and old IR remotes are far more primitive than new ones and still got the job done.
