(Harmony 200) I plug it in, installed the software and all it can do is load to 100 and stop.

Installed both the MyHarmony software and the 7.7.0 software from logitech and NEITHER of them go through.

Also read on how to turn on safe mode and tried it that way, now 7.7.0 doesn't even read that it's connected AND I can't take it off safe mode.. What's up with this?

The 7.7 software will not work with the 200 or 300, only MyHarmony.com can be used to set it up, also be sure that you have tha latest version of Silverlight installed.

OK - so like the OP, I've got the same remote, stuck in safe mode and can't use any Logitech software to configure it... It worked fine at work, but now I want to configure it for my home TV and stuff.

Can't say I'm terribly impressed to find out the "proper" software (Harmony Remote 7.7) doesn't support the "Harmony" remote I bought. I'd managed to keep my computer Silverlight-free until tricked into installing it today (remote is new - arrived at work yesterday, where it connected and configured fine).

To take it out of safe mode, remove the batteries, then while holding the #2 button install the batteries.
