I have an older lg lcd tv model number lg - 32lc2du and right now the remote will not set it to correct input when i turn it on for "watching tv". Only a problem if its left on a different input when shut off, but wondering if there is a way to adjust the timing or anything to get this to work.

Unfortunately, there is no way to make any timing adjustments with the 300.

I also have issue with input selecting. My equipment:
TV: LG 37LH7000
Remote: Harmony 300i
I have programmed HDMI2 to Watch TV button as Direct HDMI is supported by my TV. But when I press Watch TV button, it switches TV on and sends HDMI2 select command to TV. But TV is loading and not reacting to HDMI select command. When it finishes loading up (about 10sec) it can listen to IR commands from remote control. Can you please add delay before sending HDMI select command or make sending HDMI input select command longer (about 15sec)? Thanks in advance.
Also I have another issue with Dreambox 800 remote control emulation. DM800's power button has autorepet function. It's analogue on Harmony 300 doesn't offer such functionality. Other buttons beside Power button have autorepeats. Can you fix that issue too?

I have the exact same issue with my Panasonic plasma TC-P42S2. Although InputHdmi1 works when mapped to a button, Watch TV input HDMI 1 does not switch the input. I assume this is because the TV is not ready to accept input at the time the remote sends the command.
Seeing that others are experiencing the same problem, it sure would be nice to get a fix in the software that would allow a delay to be added to the Watch TV button's TV input command.

Hello wakramer,
At this time there is no way to adjust the power on delay for a device on a Harmony 300. However, since device settings can be adjusted by Customer Support manually, I suggest contacting them letting them know the length of time your TV takes before being able to switch inputs. They can make the change for you.
Regards,
DaneHarmony

Thanks for your help. I called support and they explained the delay is currently 5 seconds by default. He said he would put in a request to change the delay for this model to 8 seconds, which seems to be the amount of time mine takes to be ready for input. He said he would email me once the change is ready for download. Hopefully 8 seconds will hit the target.

Unfortunately they cannot adjust the delay on this remote. Here is their response:
Thank you for contacting Logitech Customer Care about your Universal Remotes
Thank you for your patience regarding this issue. After having long conversation with our database team, they have concluded that there is no possible way they can add delay in that activity as that button gets programmed by default by the software and harmony 300 also does not allow us to get into the configuration to make some changes like other harmony remote model which allow us to go into the coding of the remote and edit and delete or modify the codes. We do apologies for this inconvenience and if in future we are able to we will make those changes in your account and also notify you through email.
We hope you have found this helpful. If you have any further questions please feel free to reply to this email and we will get back to you shortly. Thank you once again for contacting Logitech Customer Care.
Regards,
Logitech Customer Care

Good remote with buggy software ![]()
I really don't understand why your database team cannot just add couple of some very long dummy IR commands before HDMI select command. It would do the trick.
Probably you can change order of HDMI select/power off? It would be good to send HDMI select first and power off next. Because all that long booting TVs do remember last input. That would be great.
