I have a podcast which is erroring on the squeezebox and on a PC, allows for download only, no streaming.

Is there a way to get this to work on a squeezebox?

I'd try downloading it, move it to your music folder, do LMS rescan, see if it plays.

The point is that it's dynamic. The podcast file updates every day to pick up a the next day's podcast.

I don't want to just manually download the file to my PC every day - I want the updated podcast file to be retrieved (which mysqueezebox does) and then to be able to listen to the audio which unfortunately is download-only.

I also wasn't planning on using the LMS... but if that's absoluately the only way, I guess that's it.

Hmm, I also noticed that the podcast is mp4 -- would that even be supported on a Squeezebox Radio?

No, LST won't play mp4 (m4a works, though).
