I am having the hardest time of my life getting squeezeboxserver runing on this system
I have found very little useful info regarding pre req Modules
the next one I'm fighting for is CGI::Cookie
I aparently doin't have a high enough verson for it to run.
I installed LMS using the following link
rpm -Uvh http://repos.slimdevices.com/yum/squeezecenter/squ
then followed it up with
yum install squeezeboxserver
I am runing 64bit Centos 6.2
here is what launches, Please Help
[root@localhost peter]# service squeezeboxserver start
Starting Squeezebox Server: The following CPAN modules were found but cannot work with Logitech Media Server:
CGI::Cookie (loaded <not found>, need 1.27)
To fix this problem you have several options:
1. Install the latest version of the module(s) using CPAN: sudo cpan Some::Module
2. Update the module's package using apt-get, yum, etc.
3. Run the .tar.gz version of Logitech Media Server which includes all required CPAN modules.
[root@localhost peter]#

I'd suggest a general forum search for "centos" at http://forums.slimdevices.com there are numerous postings in the search results.
