I forget....have you done a factory reset on the duet receiver and controller? Can't hurt. And if that doesn't work, my next step would be to do a reset and reconnect receiver using ethernet rather than wifi (just as a test) to see whether you can get the player recognized.

I tried the factory reset and when it gets to the "scanning for players" step it just keeps searching, never finding the players. Would it make sense to try deleting the player on mysqueezebox.com and then try re-installing it to see if it recognizes it at that point?

Also, I'm assuming you haven't setup any sort of MAC address restricting on your router itself. If you don't know what this is, that means you haven't set it up. I'm not aware of any routers that would do this by default.

I tried a hard reset of the receiver itself (holding button down on unit rather than just unplug) and that worked! Thanks so much for your help.
