Have signed up to Telstra's MOG 14 day trial

Advertised by Telstra as working for Squeezebox

I have a classic Squeezebox, have installed firmware 137 from the 7.7.2 logitech media server (so all up to date).

The MOG App can be installed (it's listed as MOG1.0 in the pluggins info section)

I have access to the MOG library, I can even select a song, but it does NOT play.

It appears to play slowly (ie elapsed play time is slow and sometimes stops), but the audio meters on the squeezebox do not function and most of all there is no audio (digital or analog) at all.

I'm assuming this is an issue with the App provided by logitech as I can access the MOG service?

It's hard to believe that this newly launched service (in Australia) would be advertised so heavily, and be indicated as running on Squeezebox, but no one had apparently tested it before launch? An issue not just for Logitech but also MOG and Telstra.

Same issue here.  Installs alright.  I can browse MOG and select tracks.  It appears as if they are going to play and then....nothing...no sound.  Squeezebox Boom.

As the other posts here mention, the app is now available in the App Gallery, it can be installed and accessed from devices (in my case 2 SB3's and 1 Boom), the device can see MOG content, but any attempt to play content gives "accessing stream info" - "connecting" then nothing. I have a ticket open with MOG but no feedback as yet.

I'm not holding my breath. Will post if there's a miracle.

i contacted MOG directly....

I apologize for the inconvenience. We have had a few issues of this happening and are currently working hard to resolve this issue. We will let you know once it has been fixed.

I note the MOG app has disappeared both from my squeezebox menus and the mySqueezebox.com list of apps available to my account...

Does this suggest the problem is still being worked on, or that MOG will not be available moving forward?

in  another forum one of the SB developers just reported that they are still working on the Australia MOG problem (and that's why it has been temporarily removed from app gallery).

According to our product specialists the MOG app has been fixed and is no live. Could you please verify this?

I can confirm that MOG is working through mysqueezebox.com, but I still have no sound when I run it through LMS.  I have tried reinstalling the plug-in and restarting the server.

Yes, thanks this has now been fixed. Now you just need to get Pandora listed in the App Gallery for users registered in Australia (it is available to Australian users now!) and I'll be well pleased.
